Jo Ann Post Barlow is an 80+ years "young" woman - efficient, competent, available and interested in what her guests are doing. She bakes delicious Apple Bread, and has a cold breakfast of cereal, fresh coffee, fresh fruit, in a quietly elegant setting. Here's a woman who studied massage therapy when over 60 years old, and is a good communicator (if that's what you want). Her house, built by her father in the 1930s, was converted into a 3-room B & B over the years, and now, widowed and living half the year in a retirement community in Maryland, she comes "back home" to make your stay delightful. A mile from the Davis and Elkins campus, and central to all the possibilities of Randolph County. HIghly recommended, and very reasonable.
