My husband and I spent the night here when we went to the Dog Track. I was very impressed. The service was good and the room was very clean.

This place was great. Check in was very fast, the clerk was friendly, the lobby was very clean. Our room was really nice, there was a flat screen television, the bathroom was clean. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is very close to the casino, we came back to our room at 3am, and when we pulled in the parking lot, there was actually a security guard walking around outside, which was very surprising. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Cross Lanes.

My family was on our way home from DC and needed an overnight. We pulled in here because it was 9:30 on a Friday and just couldn't go any longer. We knew nothing about it and just hoped for the best. Well what a pleasant surprise it was. Wonderful remodeled rooms, quiet location off the interstate and on the mountainside (there was even a deer grazing next to it), nice showers, power flush toilets, flat screen tv, and a nice breakfast in the morning. We almost hated to leave.

Recently renovated ...just a jewel. Lovely decor, lush furnishings in the lobby and room was well appointed. Staff was extremely courteous, helpful and very friendly. Close to the casino, variety of eating places -- all surrounded by a nice little town. Near enough to Charleston to enjoy sightseeing, shopping and not have to fight a lot of traffic to return.
