“Our wonderful "Port from the Storm"”

On our way back from Kentucky to the metropolitan area I made the mistake of reserving a hotel in Winchester VA off Rt. 81, when we were traveling on Rt.79. As we approached the exit for Clarksburg, West VA. I said to my husband "there is a RT.50 that goes straight across to Winchester from here". We got off at the exit and stopped and asked a Mini-Mart attendant if the road was safe, as we were in the mountains and it was foggy. He said it was fine, so I got into the drivers seat and drove approx 5 miles and was never so frightened in my life. You couldn't see 2 feet in front of you and the road was so curvy with no guardrails! Lucky for us my Husband who took over driving turned around and we went back to the exit for Rt. 79 and came upon the Hilton Garden Inn. It was great! Nice people, immaculate hotel, comfy beds. The breakfast was wonderful!

“Business trip”

I stayed here one night for business and it was extremely nice. Big room plenty of amenities including fridge and microwave. There were many nice restaurants nearby also.

“great one night stay”

Stayed here one night for business. Room and beds were excellent. Staff at front desk and bar/restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. Location is very close to lots of shopping and probably any restaurant you would be looking for. I would definitely stay here again.

We always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn when visiting Clarksburg. It is probably the best hotel in the area. The staff is always so nice and would go out of their way to make you happy. The rooms are your standard Hilton rooms, nice size with large flat screen TV, desk, chair with ottoman, refrigerator and coffee pot. There is also complimentary coffee in the lobby all day long. The Great American Grille serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a bar off the lobby. Room service is available.
