The previous reviews made me nervous but I was so happy when I arrived...it's a newer property compared to a lot of Hamptons. Very clean..small pool but clean and warm...Thoughtful front desk staff calling 30 min after we checked in to see if we needed anything.
As I'm writing this review I'm staying in a Hampton Inn in PA which I'll review later or soon, but in comparison the Buckhannon one has newer facilities, towels and in general is exactly the product they deliver..consistent, clean and comfortable.

This hotel is not up to the standards of the Hamptons, we realized to late it was the same hotel we stayed at last year, our reason to pay additional money was for the warm pool - a waste of money
Water was to cold for exercise or swimming

This hotel did not live up to the Hampton Inn reputation. I was very disappointed with the noise. Constant door slamming and running in the room above us was the theme for the night. The walls were so paper thin you could hear people talking in the parking lot and surrounding rooms. The air conditioner was extremely loud when it would cycle on and off, and would startle you awake every 15 minutes or so. Our bathroom door would not shut. The biggest disappointment of all was the bed. No fluffy pillowtop mattress here! Clearly not worth the $119+tax that we spent.

Not much to recommend here. Desk staff is not at all professional or hospitable, the rooms smell, the halls are noisy and all sounds penetrate right into the rooms.
