Anyone looking into this hotel...Please,Please think twice. We just stayed here this past Saturday & it was the worst experience my family & I have ever had. First of all, it was cold & rainy, and you have to stand outside & check in through a window.....that should of tipped us off right there. We got into our room, and it was just downright nasty. The walls were all caved in with water rot, the room reeked of urine so bad I had all I could do to stay in it as long as I did. My children moved their pillows & found tiny bugs...yes..I said BUGS...alive bugs with wings. I couldn't even stay the night I was so disgusted, we were up & out of there very early. There weren't even enough towels for us to shower without sharing, the towel rod fell off the wall, there were burnt out lights in the room, the tub water backed up and wouldn't drain, and upon closer inspection, the bottom of the tub was dirty, I used a washcloth to wipe down the bottom only to find it brown after a few swipes. Checkout time brought no questions of "How was your Stay" like most hotels, he just took the keycard & turned his head....and the continental breakfast consisted of bread & a toaster with orange juice, so we had to make a stop at Dunkin Donuts. And to add insult to injury, when I later checked my receipt to what I was supposed to be charged, it was an additional $4.00. I have never stayed at an Econo Lodge before, but this experience has turned me away from any other location.
