I drove into Barboursville after a long drive. What a great find this hotel is. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. If I return to this area, I will certainly try this hotel again.

Its simple great hotel with a fantastic staff!! Listen if you knew how much I have stayed in this hotel over the years you would think I was crazy but I cant help it when I have to be in that area for business this is my home for that time! They are always couteous fast and even when things become a little busy and frustrating the staff maintains professionalism and a smile its a great stay !!

Very good value for the price. Good location! Staff at the desk was super young, but had no problem taking care of us. Decent exercise room.

Pros: Inexpensive, good breakfast, clean, friendly staff, convenient to interstate, free fast Wi-Fi, coffee maker and refrigerator in room.
Cons: They forgot to clean our room one the four days we were there. At breakfast one morning, a guest told us that his truck had been broken into the night before and tools taken, and that the hotel did not have any security cameras; we decided to park at the front door the next 3 nights instead of on the side. Two truckers or workmen stayed in a room across from ours and brought in a prostitute a 11:30 p.m., probably from one of the nearby "gentlemen's clubs"; she woke us up with her loud well-rehearsed lines and sounds, first with one man and then with the other; it was kind of funny in a way and there is not much a hotel can do to prevent this, but it did wake us up.
