“Great place to relax and enjoy nature”

We recently stayed in one of the cabins and had a wonderful time. The cabins are quaint, well kept and very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. You can take walks thru the forest, along the Skagit River and view fish jumping and eagles in season.

We ate all our meals at the Eatery. They were excellent, well served with generous portions and the wait staff, including the owners, are delightful.

if you are looking for a place to get away, view nature and relax put Skagit River Resort on your list.

“A Great Place for Peace & Relaxation!”

We have stayed at Clark's cabins multiple times. Each time has always been such a pleasure! If you are looking for a Hilton or a Sheraton, this is not for you. But if you desire a real change of pace, a chance to step back to a simpler time and just enjoy the peace and beauty of God's creation, this resort should top your list.

We have stayed in several of the different cabins from the "Theme" cabins, the older rustic cabins, to the newer Chalet style cabins. Each time our stay was delightful. Our cabins were clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and, of course, it's always great to have the ability to cook your own favorite meals. The prices, in my opinion, are value-based and reasonable.

We enjoy hiking and sightseeing and there is plenty of both in this location. We found the management and staff to be most helpful in recommending places to see and wonderful trails for hiking. All personnel were friendly and helpful should you need anything.

If you enjoy the great Northwest outdoors and you want to get close to nature again, we highly recommend this resort!

“RELAXING AND WARM GET AWAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2011

What a charming and warm little resort that features everything that is unique and special about the northwest. If you desire cold precision then find a chain hotel with a sticky fingered maid. If you require a more personal touch then look no further. Each cabin is designed with a theme and if you don't want to stay in a cabin they have little chalet's or areas to camp. The property is vast and includes walking trails, access to the Skagit River and even an adorable little roadside chapel! Our daughter begs us to take her and her friends back for an overnighter. We'll probably rent two chalet's next to each other and put the girls in one and my husband and I in the other. We'll have dinner at the restaurant and place an order for the world famous cinnamon roles in the morning. The whole point of getting out of town is to take it down a notch. Yes there is internet available for your convenience (and I had no access problems), but leave your lap top at home and bring your camera instead. Enjoy the fresh air, a nice walk and a loved one. Can't wait to go back, it's a true home away from home.

“DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!”

We were promised wireless internet and had wireless but no internet connection. Stayed in a scuzzy cabin for way too much $$$. one bedroom door was missing and the only other one was broken and inoperative. Holes in the 70-year-old linoleum had never been repaired. Beds were very uncomfortable. The manager lied to us several times about the inoperative internet connection. My partner was scared the entire time and said the place reminded her of the movie "Deliverance".

We periodically experience internet connection issues given our SECLUDED venue. We are currently evaluating this free service amenity.

Separately, concerning our cabins, we offer a variety of cabin qualities and differing price points. Our guests determine which cabin they want according to their budget. We are disappointed that your 1940's cabin was not what you expected at that price point. We classify (good, better, best) cabins, and offer unique lodging in an effort to best fit a range of traveler needs. (Note: this guest was offered and declined a cabin change).
