All the staff are friendly, reservations and check-in are easy and problem free. That's when the hotel itself brings the rating down. The rooms are accessible by metal key, and are outside near the parking lot (meaning no hallways). Stayed in room 105 which is not riverside, and the King room is spacious and clean with lots of drawer space. The AC/heater is kindof loud and the bathroom fan is really loud. The wifi signal is week/good but I could still do what I needed on the internet and could still 'facetime' on my iPhone. Room amenities: small refrigerator, held the drinks and take-out ok, small microwave (didn't use), single cup coffee maker (didn't use) and seen that there is an ironing board with iron. The bathroom is small (have to step aside the toilet to shut the door) and there is a phone next to the toliet (which states it has 2 lines and can do conference calls). There are 6 lamps in the room all worked except the one bedside lamp with a broken switch, so you have to plug it in the wall for light. Nice heavy curtains on the window, kept the room dark so I slept in.
The spa/exercise room is COLD, the steam room did steam up but it was cold in there. The sauna didn't get hot or even warm for that matter. The Jacuzzi which seats 6 was the temperature of a hot bath. There are three exercise equipment machines which I did not use.
You get a voucher good for either the small hot/cold buffet breakfast or $4.95 off the restaurant. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was ok mostly plain tasting, eggs and hashbrowns were not that good. This hotel is very roomy with ample free parking and the lobby is cold.
