I am staying at the Redmond Inn. My first stay was quite pleasant....nice staff...ok breakfast.....gourmet coffee..... My current stay is on the second floor. I did not get a lot of sleep. Since I'm on the second floor (I was on the third floor my first time), I hear all kind of noise from above (thumping and other floor noise). Since I'm near a stairwell....I'm hearing a lady making a 45 minute cell conversation with someone. This has been really a bad experience. In summary, good hotel only if you stay on the third floor.

For a conference in Redmond I stayed in the Redmond Inn, at a 10 minute drive from the Microsoft Campus and 25 minute drive to Seattle Downtown, the hotel is perfectly situated, right on the onramp to the highway and at walking distance from the 'historic' town center of Redmond. It's location is also its greatest downside. The highway is noticable and the noisy AC and thin walls don't help making it any better. Try getting a room on the back side of the hotel and away from the stairs.

The rooms were very clean and equipped with free wifi/cable internet a large TV and a private bathroom, the soap and shampoo smelled nice for a change.

The best thing about this hotel is it's staff. When a cab didn't show we were transported by the clerc and they're always happy to arrange transportation or the delivery of stuff.

Cons:
- Room walls, roofs and floors like paper -> you can hear everything from other rooms.
- AC/Heater like aeroplane and this time of year is this freezing cold in room without it.
- Not sure if there was coming more water from actual tap / shower or beside of those.
- Breakfast very minimal.
- Washroom very small.

The Redmond Inn is located in a decent neighborhood & close to a little strip mall. The parking is outside and there are multiple buildings that make up the inn. I found this hotel to be older with super thin walls. I could hear people walking around all night above me. It also had an old smell although the room was quite clean. The free breakfast was not the best, but it was free. I stayed here because there was a conference in town & it was the closest hotel to my work location. I stayed here two nights & moved to another hotel when it had openings. Not my kind of hotel at all. The staff, however, was very friendly & helpful. The accomodations just left some to be desired.
