Not sure how new this hotel is, but it feels very new. Beds are so comfortable. Huge flatscreen tvs with every channel you can imagine (so many hotels are cheaping out, nice to see one that has all the channels). Room is comfortable, clean and very modern. I have stayed in older 4-5 star hotels that has rooms not even as nice as these. Very impressed!
Breakfast was amazing. LOVE THE PANCAKE MACHINE!!! Love that way more than the waffles, hope this is what all hotels will be getting soon. Didn't use the pool, but looked nice. Quiet and clean! Shower pressure great. Mcdonalds in the parking lot is VERY handy! Definately on my 'stay again' list!

Great hotel to stay in around the Tacoma area.

Pros:
- Free breakfast is fantastic, lots of choices.
- Free wifi internet.
- Free cookies and coffee in lobby 24/7.
- Rooms are large, clean, modern.
- Fitness room, pool.

The hotel sits behind a McDonalds and gas station, and the exterior is deceptively unimpressive. However, once inside, we found a comfortable, clean and pleasant hotel with an extremely helpful and welcoming staff. The staff members manning the front desk were always friendly and eager to assist. Parking was free and ample. Lastly, it seems that either the hotel was recently renovated or is fairly new; all the furniture, carpets, paint etc are in really fresh, great shape. Was really a nice surprise to find how nicely decorated and very clean the rooms were. "Excellent" hotel for its class and price-range.

The staff is always friendly, the rooms are very clean, and the complimentary breakfast bar is really nice. Holiday Inn really surprised me. Look, as I write this I'll be here for a while longer so I'm submitting a great review prior to checking out. BTW, Morning paper on the doorstep......nice touch!
