I phoned the Poulsbo Inn for a one night reservation. The customer service agent was flat out rude! He didn't listen to my requests and would respond back with incorrect information. I then phoned the GuestHouse Inn & Suites in Poulsbo, where I was cheerfully greeted and booked our stay. First impressions, obviously make a difference.

If you want to visit the quaint Norwegian town located on the Puget Sound in Washington, then you have to stay at the Poulsbo Inn & Suites. We arrived at 4:00 a.m. - tired and disheveled. The night clerk was one of the friendliest I've ever dealt with. After having us call her THREE times before we got there - for directions - she greeted us so warmly and got us all settled in a very short time. We took a suite - which I would highly recommend. Two plush queen beds in a separate bedroom, small kitchen (fully stocked - including silverware), and living room with fold-out couch. It was clean and well stocked and very quiet. The Inn is situated on a main road but it sits back and is not noisy at all. No real view but you are only minutes from all kinds of shopping and restaraunts and the waterfront is only a few blocks away. Check out in the morning - the day staff were just as friendly and pleasant. We stayed in the off season but really want to come back when the weather is warmer. We will definitely stay here again!!

I only had a choice of two hotels in Poulsbo that my company would allow me to stay at. Previously I had stayed at the Holiday Inn and was not impressed so I decided to give Poulsbo Inn and Suites a try. I first arrived at night time and the hotel looked more like a dark motel. However, the rooms were clean and included a microwave and mini fridge. It appeared that they remodeled the rooms not too long ago to give them more of a nature feel. The hotel has free wifi, breakfast, and a gym. The gym was very small, but they had one which was a bonus. The breakfast was fine for me. Overall I was pleased with my stay and would stay there again.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding and got a wedding block discount. We were in a suite that had a living room with kitchen area separated from the bedroom area. The room was clean, there was plenty of parking, and we recieved some cookies on check in, which was a nice touch. We probably won't have another reason to travel to Poulsbo, but if we do, I would consider staying here again.
