Holly House B&B is a cit above! The breakfasts are inventive and delicious, the hosts are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, the sheets smell wonderful and the location is great. At the end of each day we returned to a small table in the garden at the B&B to relax over a glass of wine before heading out to one of the many nearby restaurant options for dinner. The garden is an oasis of tranquility, as well as having decorative items scattered about to make it an interesting and inviting space. We particularly enjoyed watching the birds splashing in the bird bath and listening to their songs. The hosts also offer their guests the use of the parlour, which we found to be a great place to top off the evening with a glass of sherry and treats (provided by the hosts). The only small complaint we have is that the bed tended to sag a little in the middle which caused some disruption in our sleep. This is relativelly minor, however, given the otherwise comfy mattress and cushy bedding, as well as the overall wonderful experience we had. A lot of attention has been given to details which make Holly House a very special retreat.

This is the third time we have stayed at this bed & breakfast, and each time our stay has been fabulous. The rooms are charming, incredibly clean, and quiet. Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. in the gorgeous Victorian dining room, and the food is fabulous. We haven't had the same thing served twice, and the creativity and quality of the food is really top-notch. There is a wonderful parlor with home made brownies, cookies, and marshmallows--yes--home made marshallows always available. In the winter, the parlor fireplace is wonderful. In the summer, there is a lovely veranda with overstuffed wicker furniture, including a porch swing--and they serve complementary wine & cheese--often locally made and scrumptious--on their back patio amidst the beautiful flowers and a charming fountain. Greg & Nina, the hosts, are so hospitable and accommodating. Top your stay off with beautiful linens and first-class beds. Another great point about this inn is that it is a short walk to historic, picturesque downtown Port Townsend. You can't go wrong with this inn--it's the best one in Port Townsend!

Spend 3 days here due to great reviews on TripAdvisor. We were happy with our stay. The owners, Nina and Greg, can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your visit. We stayed in Billie's Room with King Bed and water view. Located in a residential neighborhood, you feel at home. The 9am candlelight breakfasts were something to behold. Fresh fruit and gourmet meals--lemon blueberry pancakes, light fluffy omlettes, blueberry french toast. Nina baked gourmet brownies, cookies, macaroons--some of the best I have tasted. Sherry and port are available, as well as wine in the afternoons. We met some wonderful, interesting people, enjoyed Nina's beautiful garden and lounging on the front porch. We came as guests and left as friends.
