My wife and I have stayed at Mrs. Howe's three times, and is our place of choice in Port Orchard. Lorraine Olsen is a most gracious and accommodating hostess with a charming smile. The living area with gas fireplace is restful and prepares one for a night of relaxed sleep. Harry's room is spacious and the bed is supplied with soft pillows and a billowing comforter in winter. I love the large washbasin in the lavatory. Lorraine's breakfast is outstanding, always freshly prepared and tasty. Then there is the view. Perched on a hillside two blocks up from Bay Street the view of Sinclair Inlet is worth the price of admission alone. Binoculars are provided for those who want to see the ships anchored across the inlet at Bremerton. The location is convenient to just about everything one might need in Port Orchard. This bed and breakfast is highly recommended.
