“Perfect place to relax and unwind”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

I just returned from two nights at the Resort at Port Ludlow. What a wonderful place! From the moment I walked through the door, I was made to feel so welcome. All of the staff I met - from the manger, to the front desk staff, to the servers in the restaurant to the cleaning staff truly understand what makes good customer service and go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The food in the restaurant is fantastic - the french onion soup is by far the best I've ever tasted, and the breakfasts are amazing. I found my stay there truly relaxing and will definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a marina view if you want a view of the water and the mountains. All the rooms a...

“Very nice, relaxed, romantic getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I just stayed for the first time. The rooms are amazing. View of the fireplace and tv from the bathtub (great big jet tub). LOVE the way the rooms are set up. Robes are very soft and comfortable. You can tell they were old though. Rooms all have balconies and fire places and are very homey and comfortable. Staff is exceptionally friendly. You feel at home. The fireside restaurant is very expensive and food is ok. Make sure you are there before 9 so you can eat at the restaurant, otherwise you're out of luck. Housekeeping could use a little help and they need room service. Bed was comfortable but sheets could have been softer. Area is beautiful. If you're looking for a nice little getaway this is the place for you!! Room rate was excellent. I will most certainly stay here again!!

Room Tip: All the rooms have fireplace and jet tubs but the view is pretty good from all the rooms. See if you...

“SUCH AN AMAZING ANNIVERSARY!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

This place is amazing...if you're looking for a getaway from the big cities, and want to stay somewhere that's peaceful and quiet then this is the place. I searched and searched for great anniversary stays, but this one had all the ammenities we wanted at a great price. We had a room for 2 nights with breakfast included for $99 a night, and the room was more like a suite...huge room, fireplace, sitting chairs, massive 2 person jacuzzi tub with a shower and large bathroom. Be aware that you are about 20 minutes from everything...they do have some small restaraunts, but we ended up driving into Port Townsend for dinner. All in all we give this place a 10 out of 10.

Also the restaruant in the hotel is good for breakfast, but for any other meal be prepared to eat foofy food as well call it. More gourmet and small portions.

Room Tip: Go to their website they are always running specials!

“Beautiful luxury, reasonable price”

We were driving from Seattle towards Olympic National Park and it got dark, so we figured we should stop somewhere. To city slickers like us, if felt like we were in the middle of nowhere all of sudden and it was so dark by 6:30 pm...we just wanted to stop at the closest motel we could find along the road, no matter how seedy. Lucky for us, we found this beautiful spot instead! We drove up and saw the name "resort" and the marina and we didn't think we'd be able to even afford it, but I went in anyway to ask about the cheapest room for the night. She gave us a deal - the best price they had online, plus breakfast vouchers and a free upgraded room! (Keep in mind, this is mid-week and mid-January, so not their busiest season, I'm sure!) Our room had a romantic gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub, soft robs, big shower, and view of the marina! I am currently sitting in front of the fire in my robe, looking out the window at the water, and trying to summon the energy to get dressed for our free breakfast! Nothing to complain about! We were lucky to find this beautiful spot on our way to the National Park!

“Can't go wrong.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Most hotels are pretty nice but you say "if they just had..." This place has it! They are great people, great food, the rooms have everything you could ever want. Right down to the bath salts for the spa tub! We especially enjoyed the totem pole, right outside our window, that had two beautiful, huge eagles. It must be their favorite place to watch people. I will definitely go again and highly recommended it to my friends.

Room Tip: corner rooms have the best view.
