“The bed was uncomfortable, the walls are paper thin, and it was not worth the money.”

To sum up our one night stay at Sleep Inn in Pasco, Washington we have to say it was awful. The room had a bad chlorine smell, the bed was horrible, the towels were so thin it took two to get dry. We could clearly hear the guests in the next room talking. Kids ran up and down the hallway until about 1:30am. Way over priced!

“Average Motel Room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2009

We spent 1 night here at the end of June. We wanted an entirely non-smoking hotel because we were traveling with our dog and the Sleep Inn was the best reviewed hotel that was all non-smoking and would accept a 50-lb. dog.

Check in and check out procedures were fast and easy and the people at the desk were very friendly.

We were in Room 100 on the 1st floor at the end of the hall in the wing by Broadmoor.
The room was nice-sized and had plenty of room for 3 bags, a couple of small coolers and our dog's large bed and we had plenty of room to walk without tripping over anything.
It was clean and free of odors except for the pool smell - as people started using the pool (located at the other end of the hall by the lobby) we could start smelling the chlorine from the pool water in our room.
The air conditioner worked well but did rattle/squeak but that worked out well because we had quite a bit of traffic noise come in from outside. The A/C noise helped drown some of that out.
The bathroom had the toilet and shower and the sink was located outside the bathroom in the living area. The biggest complaint for me was the shower. It had 1 small shelf that was not big enough for a small bottle of shampoo, small bottle of conditioner, travel size bottle of facial cleanser and a tiny square of soap. The shelf seemed to kind of slope down in the middle which made it hard for anything, the soap included, to stay on the shelf when the shelf was wet. The shower itself was large though.

There were lots of grassy areas for our dog plus a path that ran along the hotel to the outlet mall.

We didn't notice any noise from the room beside us or the room above us but the hotel was not full and those rooms could have been empty.

Breakfast was decent: biscuits and gravy, waffles, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, donuts, bagels, etc.

It was the one place we stayed during our 18-day vacation that our dog never could relax in though. We think it was the smell from the pool plus the traffic noise that had her nerves on edge the whole time.

“Best Cheap Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2008

I have to start by saying that I have been visiting the Tri-Cities for the last ten years, so I have stayed at a LOT of hotels. This is the best hotel for the lowest price. If location and budget are your main concerns then this is the hotel for you. It is centrally located between Richland and Pasco. It is right next to the freeway, one exit away you will find EVERYTHING you could need (grocery, wal-mart, starbucks, restaurants, etc.) The hotel is clean, includes a light breakfast and I have never had any trouble with reservations. The area is free from other businesses, so you don't get any people hanging around in the evenings. They will even accept pets for a fee.

“Average budget hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 June 2007

I stayed here one night June 2. I needed a room close to the Tri-Cities Airport. The two hotels closest to the airport were both sold out. This one was available and only 5 miles from away, with easy freeway access. Hotel is newer, average budget hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, a clean bed, a shower, an iron, an alarm clock and coffee maker. There was also a microwave and refrigerator. This is a nice location for most other Tri-Cities area attractions. Shopping and restaurants nearby or within 5 minute drive.

  • Liked — easy freeway access
  • Disliked — breakfast served too late for me

“Nice enough for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2005

This Sleep Inn has comfortable beds! It is definitely a budget-type hotel, but we were surprised to learn they have a soup bar in the evenings, and a decent, if not carb-heavy, breakfast. The only complaint I had was the noise level in the shower - it was deafening! The hotel itself was very quiet, though, and the employees were very helpful in finding a local restaurant. It is conveniently located in the Tri-Cities area, making it a nice place to rest after exploring the local wineries.
