My husband and I and our 22 month old daughter stayed at the cottage for 2 days in July 2010. The place is small but it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette was great. We appreciated the fresh fruit, banana bread and yogurt the hosts provided. We spent most of our time on the deck looking out at the water. It truly is a spectacular view. I really can't find anything to complain about. I'd definitely recommend the place to others.

Puget View is a great little cabin on Puget Sound, officially a vacation rental, but with kind of a bed and breakfast feeling. Kitchenette is handy. Nice to have it stocked with a few items for our first breakfast. Hosts are very nice and live in the log house that shares the property. Enjoyed Tolmie State Park which is practically next door. Cottage has a great view, especially from the deck. We also liked the hammock and campfire area on the beach. Trail to beach is down a bunch of steps, just so you know. Puget View is a lovely find. We enjoyed it very much---so will you.

First of all, the guest "house" is really a couple of rooms tacked onto a garage. But don't let that put you off. My wife and I both agree that of all the B&Bs we've stayed out, Puget View Guest House is the most romantic.

To begin with, it is a very cozy "cottage". The two rooms are comfortable and well decorated. You have your own sun deck. There is a double-hammock on the grounds overlooking Puget Sound. There is a private beach with kayak and BBQ. And TONS of sand dollars. There are hundreds and hundreds of sand dollars.

The owners are very attentive and provide a delicious breakfast.
