My 9 year old son and nephew went the week prior to Labor Day. It was for my nephew's birthday. We arrived and got our key immediately and it was so convenient that we booked through trip advisor because we didn't have to worry about paying and paperwork! While the rooms were somewhat outdated and beds normal size, they carried a refridgerator and microwave and coffee maker, couch and table and safe...even in the standard room. The service was prompt when I requested extra blankets for the pull out couch bed and for the battery to be replaced in the safe so that I may use it. They offered a free waffle breakfast every morning...and no it was not ego waffles! They were self service so we took our own batter and cooked it. The pool spa was one of the best features because if it was too cold for the boys outside on the ocean they still could get into the water. Above all, the management was so kind and sweet. They stayed friendly and even gave us suckers when we left! The warm welcome, stay and goodbye is why I gave this place a 4 stars review!

Checked in and headed to the room. Opened the door to be greeted by a smell that was like a dog pound. The wife said "look, the fog rolled in" My reply was that it was the filth on the window. The bed was like a sack of potatoes shaped like a bowl. Throughout the night I kept rolling to the center. Soap was in the room, but no shampoo....$110 for a night of hell! We had booked 2 days, but cut our stay at the beach to one night Do yourself a favor if you are thinking about staying at this place....pay more $$$$ and go somewhere that has rooms fit to stay in! Stay Away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were in our rooms for less than one hour before we found bed bugs. We turned in our keys and asked for a refund. They refused to give a refund even after we took video of the desk clerk in our room confirming there were bed bugs.

The management is greedy and don't expect a refund when you find bed bugs in your hotel room.

Yes, the beds were double and not queen. It stated that in the room description. No fitted sheet. Flat was used instead. (Not the best chamber maid in the world but it would do.) Our only complaint was the pool. It was cold, HOWEVER, the staff were receptive to the guest's input and it was warmer the next day. I don't see any other complaints on that point here so assume it's not an ongoing issue. We have a 6 year old so the pool is IMPORTANT. I think they were just working through some adjusting. One day the hot tub was too hot and the pool too cold. We brought our own food and prepared it in the microwave and used the mini fridge. It all worked out well! Would definately stay here again. Good value for your money, if you are flexible.
