I don't know what Quality in you stayed at, but I strongly disagree with your review.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and never encountered any of issues you stated.
Just saying.......
I always stay at the Quality Inn at Ocean Shores when visiting, never had a problem.
friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast.

We were just at this hotel one night while we were driving up the cost and thank goodness for that. The room had to be one of the smallest rooms with 2 beds I have ever been in. It really needed updating. It was clean, but the carpet in the room and in the hallways really needed replacing. Breakfast the next morning was good. Our room did not have an air conditioner and the window did not really open that much. We thought about moving to a different hotel when we saw the room and I wished we had even though it was for just a night.

The off-season rates make this a real bargain. We had 3-rd floor room with nice view. The staff at check-in and breakfast were as helpful as could be. We'll be back.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the great views from this motel's third floor balcony. We could hear the roar of the surf and watch the sunsets and sunrises. The front desk clerk was so very helpful about attractions and directions to places in the area, and we found our room to be pleasantly appointed and very clean. We appreciated the delivery of the morning paper and the fresh fruit and tasty selections for the complimentary breakfast. It was our first time to Ocean Shores in many years, but we definitely plan to return. Walking to shop and eat was a little tricky because there were no sidewalks in the area. Even though it was a clamming weekend, we were still able to get a good value with the senior rate.
