First time stay in an Extended StayAmerica facility, so didn't know what to expect. My first impression after checking in was that the interior corridor and the room reminded me of some Navy barracks I stayed in back in "those" days. Just the visual effect rather than the actual conditions. The room is very spartan, with an exceptionally firm mattress (actually hard). The kitchen has a full size fridge, a two burner stove, and a microwave. Not bad for an extended stay (mine is only 3 nights), esp. with a grocery store virtually next door. The bathroom has a fairly large counter, the shower worked well. The room was clean at check-in. So, that's the okay part.
This is not a smoke free facility. I have what I think is a non-smoking room, but someone around me smokes a lot. The smell, especially this evening, permeates the area, even outside. If you are adament about not being exposed to second hand smoke, do not stay here. If I were staying for a longer period in this area, I would change hotels.
Since my reservation is for only 3 nights, I am not getting any room service at all. Fortunately, the hotel provided 4 sets of bath towels, wash rag, etc., and two bars of soap.... The used towels from my previous 2 nights are still in the bathroom. It is obvious whenever other room's showers are being used, because the water piping is very noisy (this is a first floor room).
As mentioned before, the room is plain. The TV has about a 20" screen, and the cable channel selection is poor. Carpeting is almost of the outdoor variety. A plus is that the windows can be opened, but that is negated by the smoke mentioned earlier. There is no closet, but there is an open rack system to hang clothes on, with 4 hangers provided. In fairness to the hotel, I did not ask for more, but assume I could have gotten them. One medium size dresser, a small recliner, and two small tables for reading or work.
I will not stay here again unless nothing else in the area is available. There are better hotels in the area.
