I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews on this site. Got this hotel for the night of Black Friday 2011 for $48 on name-your-price on Price Line. Check in girl, Sabrina (??) wasn't overly pleasant and just doing her job. Was given a King room without explanation that 2 beds were unavailable (2 females!). Room faced courtyard, towards hot tub. Smelled like spray where they try to kill any smells, but wasn't overly strong. The room was HUGE, bathroom was small. Very dated furniture (early 90's) but everything was clean. Free wifi! Oh and bring ear plugs, thin walls!
Breakfast waffles were fantastic and well organized with the portions in pre-measured cups to avoid a mess. There were also cereals, juices, packaged pastries (gag!) such as twinkies, coffee, tea, lots of fruit. There wasn't anywhere for us to sit as we went at 9am, but took it back to our room.
This hotel is attached to a Mexican Restaurant, where guests receive a discount (but not on alcohol)... I would recommend walking 1/2 block or so South down the street to a fantastic Mexican restaurant that has won many awards (and was busy ... good sign!) "El Gitano" .
Great location if you're just staying one night there ... close driving distance to Burlington Outlet Mall (Lululemon, Coach, GAP, etc), Cascade Mall, etc etc. About 30mins to Seattle Premium Outlet Mall.
I wouldn't plan a vacation to stay at this hotel more than one night, but for it's value and location, it does the trick.
Room Tip: Face courtyard!
