Nice location with great value for money, why should I spend more when I can get same room and service in cheap price

I stayed at this hotel on two different occasions last week. First, I stayed on the evening of November 21st and 22nd, stayed at home on the 23rd and stayed at the hotel again on the 24th. The first two nights weren't too bad. The only concern that I had was somewhat important. At the far end of the hallway upstairs, as I was going down the stairs to go out to my car, I noticed a significant amount of water on the stairs that appeared to have dripped from the ceiling. It took me a minute to figure out the source of the water but I discovered that the water was coming from the smoke detector. The next time I stayed on the 24th, my wife and I were in the handicapped room and while neither my wife nor myself have any disabilities, our concern was for those that stay here that may in fact need handicap accessible rooms. The table was directly in front of the sink area and the TV stand was butted up next to the table with the bed in front of the TV stand. In a large room this might not be a problem but there is no way on earth that a person in a wheelchair would be able to get to the bed. Another big concern we had was the bed. The springs were completely shot, it squeaked and creaked just sitting watching TV. The room also smelled like someone had been smoking in the room despite having to initial upon check in that smoking and pets are prohibited.

I was surprised at the cleanliness of the room. Everything in my room was fine and not like the photos that some people have posted. I was on the first floor. The person in the room above me like to walk around for an hour when I was trying to get to sleep. Very annoying. Overall this was a good economy stay.

The rooms are not condusive to anyone with a wheelchair. The rooms with double Queens on the back side have Excellent Bathrooms, but no room to navigate in the rest of room. The Larger rooms on the Front have plenty of room in the living area, but the Bathroom is narrow and the tub was a Jucuzzi and the side was to high.
Saying THAT! the experience was worth the trip. Excellent Breakfast, Clean rooms and BELIEVE it or NOT my BAD BACK survived the SOFT bed! They definitly were the softest beds I can ever remember sleeping on. Ofcourse NO ONE can match the beds at the RED LIONS! I would come back any chance I got, but Wifey says NO!
