After my first stay in early September '11, it was pleasant enough stay so that on a return business trip at the end of Sep, I stayed in this hotel again. I asked for a room at the front of the hotel and was given room 225. A word of advice ... dont stay in room 225 if you require a decent nights sleep. Every now and again you would feel and hear rumblings from a heavy motor on the 1st floor, immediately below the room. Next morning the helpful young lady receptionist got me another room and explained that room 225 (and most likely room 223) is above the dryers. If they were not being used for long periods of time, then would switch on and off for periods of time overnight. The new room on the third floor was just fine.
Of the 3 different rooms I have now stayed in so far, they all appear to have large screen HDTVs. Not that I watch a great deal of TV while in a hotel, but while I do it would be really nice to take advantage of the TVs capabilities and actually view HD programming. All channels are analogue signals (standard definition) and on a HD TV, makes the programs even worse.
The car park fills up quickly and lots of signs around saying who to call if your car is towed if its in the wrong place, but, you are not exactly sure that when parked a bit further from the hotel, what is the right or wrong place.
Last week I stayed in a CY in Raleigh, NC that has the Bistro styled restaurant … I much prefer the buffet style as offered by the CY Lynnwood.
