“Nice CLEAN and safe motel with great value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2010

ave it 3 stars for location because it is a little out of the way from downtown Seattle-athough it is right by I5..(this is my review from tahoo travel-felt compelled to leave it as i dont think the previous reviews are deserving and we were very satisfied-must be new management/ownership)
We came here after checking out of "Thunderbird inn" on aurora which was so gross with dangerous customers (pimps and crackheads and bedbugs) we left immediately. every other motel on aurora that seemed respectable had no vacancy so we took the cab further north to Lynnwood. the price was only about $5 more and was a welcome relief from the former-night and day difference.. it seems like the ownership/management of the ROdeo Inn changed since the previous reviews-this place had the appearance of having been recently renovated. the american fluent english speaking staff had white paint all over the clothes and when i made a joke about bedbugs he seemed very offended like they worked hard to keep the place nice. this place was very clean and even had a fridge and microwave plus a working remote in the room. furniture seemed new and was nice. bed was CLEAN and comfortable-NO bedbugs thank god!.elevator was clean too. soap and shampoo in a clean bathroom. towels were kind of thin and worn but CLEAN. nice simple clean place-just what we were looking for and expected for the price. it actually exceeded expectations..breakfast was nothing special-coffee and prewrapped danishes but with a free newspaper. i think it was like $60 for a queen/$65 for a king. Go a little bit north past the seattle line on route 99 and it is well worth the extra cab price/gas. Highly recommended.. btw i when i used to live in seattle i drove a cab and have seen my share of motels on aurora-pretty much everything on aurora ave in seattle is a dump except for Marco Polo motel (also recommended) across from the thunderbird-(a dump dont go there), which is a nice clean korea owned place (which was occupied at the time). we had a room in back so noise wasnt an issue although it id set back from rte 99 so maybe the front rooms were quiet as well.

“3 star stay at 1 star price,... perfect”

This place is not bad. Its on of the only places on the old highway 99 to not come with a dead body or a two dollar hooker. People were nice, and the rooms were "clean enough" to those not expecting a vegas high roller penthouse. Showers hot and has pressure, every channel you want on the tv, micro, fridge, free coffee all day, and free internet. Guy at the front was nice, tho very disconnected from such amenities such a cash register, but the metal box works. Place is cheeeeeap as hell for a stay in seattle. Helps to find such jems like these when your lookin to house yourself and a mild bunch of construction people. I liked it.

“Welcome to hell on earth”

This is quite possibly the worst motel in the state, perhaps even the entire country. The rooms were in awful condition. Floors were dirty, bathrooms were dirty, beds were dirty. The management doesn't know anything about good customer service. She was clueless and could barely speak english and when I asked for a refund she played stupid and then threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. It doesn't suprise me that a place that is a haven for crooks is run by a crook too. Prostitutes, sex offenders and drug dealers make this place there own personal playground during the night. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. No sense in risking your life for $40.

“More Like the Roach Motel!!”

This is the WORST place I've ever been. I'd rather be in jail!! OK, I've attatched a copy of the actual brochure handed out at The Rodeo Inn. It says, "The Complimentary continental breakfast is worth writing home about." -- More like it's worth writing The Health Inspector about! The Doughnuts were clearly outdated with a REDUCED PRICE sticker on them, expiring the previous day! And the coffee tasted like it had been re-brewed several times! The brochure goes on to say, "Every morning you'll wake to assorted pastries, chilled fruit juice, your choice of cold cereals, herbal teas and freshly brewed coffee." Are you kidding me?!?! It should say "you'll wake to sirens in the parking lot, any number of domestic disturbances from the prostitution rings being held there and the sound of footsteps from the druggies roaming the halls all night!" I literally went to the Walgreens in the next parking lot over to get my "fresh breakfast!" I'm really surprised that this place hasn't been shut down! Don't stay here!
