ave it 3 stars for location because it is a little out of the way from downtown Seattle-athough it is right by I5..(this is my review from tahoo travel-felt compelled to leave it as i dont think the previous reviews are deserving and we were very satisfied-must be new management/ownership)
We came here after checking out of "Thunderbird inn" on aurora which was so gross with dangerous customers (pimps and crackheads and bedbugs) we left immediately. every other motel on aurora that seemed respectable had no vacancy so we took the cab further north to Lynnwood. the price was only about $5 more and was a welcome relief from the former-night and day difference.. it seems like the ownership/management of the ROdeo Inn changed since the previous reviews-this place had the appearance of having been recently renovated. the american fluent english speaking staff had white paint all over the clothes and when i made a joke about bedbugs he seemed very offended like they worked hard to keep the place nice. this place was very clean and even had a fridge and microwave plus a working remote in the room. furniture seemed new and was nice. bed was CLEAN and comfortable-NO bedbugs thank god!.elevator was clean too. soap and shampoo in a clean bathroom. towels were kind of thin and worn but CLEAN. nice simple clean place-just what we were looking for and expected for the price. it actually exceeded expectations..breakfast was nothing special-coffee and prewrapped danishes but with a free newspaper. i think it was like $60 for a queen/$65 for a king. Go a little bit north past the seattle line on route 99 and it is well worth the extra cab price/gas. Highly recommended.. btw i when i used to live in seattle i drove a cab and have seen my share of motels on aurora-pretty much everything on aurora ave in seattle is a dump except for Marco Polo motel (also recommended) across from the thunderbird-(a dump dont go there), which is a nice clean korea owned place (which was occupied at the time). we had a room in back so noise wasnt an issue although it id set back from rte 99 so maybe the front rooms were quiet as well.
