“Cold Water Flat”

If you like cold showers, this is the place for you! I complained about the shower being cold and they left a note telling me that I had to let the water run for a while. So the next morning I let it run and run. It never got above room temperature. I went to the manager and complained again and he came to the room and ran the water and said it was warm. I felt of it and if it was 75 degrees I'd be shocked. Rooms are shabby, but all I wanted was a crash pad and a hot shower, because I was working in Rainier.

Their idea of a "continental breakfast" is breakfast rolls or cold cereal (you have to beg for milk) and weak coffee.

“Great stay on my way to the coast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011

This motel was conveniently located in Longview, WA with easy access to Highway 4 which leads out to Long Beach, WA . Also, this hotel is centrally located with most stores, restaurants and gas stations with in walking distance. There is even a nice lake (Lake Sacajawea) right across the road.

I had an extremely relaxing stay at the Travelodge in Longview. The staff was very friendly and offered prompt service. There was a "Under New Management" sign in front and they were in the process of repainting the outside of the motel. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owners and they worked with me to stay with in my budget. The free breakfast was great and just what I needed before I hit the road for the beach. As for the rooms, the were spacious and quite clean. My room had a very big king size bed and offered many amenities (microwave, fridge, cable TV, coffee maker, safe, etc). I had a great stay at this hotel and have already recommended this location for my mother in law who also enjoyed her stay.

Room Tip: I always prefer non-smoking rooms when I travel.

“Not agree with the Bad reviews given here - Best place to stay when in longview.””

we got reservation last week and then I got time to check the reviews here after read bad reviews which is given here.we almost decided to cancel our reservation in Travelodge but we don’t have more time to check other motels so we went there as per our reservation and we stayed there the night before and the night after our travel to Longview beach.

I give it an excellent rating because it is a very good value, the location is great, and the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is not a highly fancy hotel by any means, but rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and The atmosphere is a semi high class with a bit of hometown favor. It also had a microwave, mini refrigerator and coffee maker.

The hotel is very close to a restaurant and a grocery store, Conveniently located in the middle of town. The staff was very helpful in providing information regarding the local restaurants, tourist attraction and directions around the town

I loved my stay at this hotel. The management were great and extremely helpful. In fact, I had some questions on how to use the remote and set up my DVD player and management came up to my room immediately to assist me

I really like the service and My experience has been pleasant and exactly what you would expect from a hotel. The staff is very courteous and the rooms are always clean.

I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a place to stay for a night. All in all a great stay-I would stay here again.

“Never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

Too expensive, not clean enough, bad cable channels, and the worst complimentary breakfast ever. They even removed the lousy prepacked "pastries" in front of us before we could eat them. We got sick by drinking their milk and juice. Terrible. It is also near the hospital so helicopters arrive multiple times each day, very noisy.

“Stay away from this place”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

We booked two nights and three rooms here because the other motels were full as it was the weekend, but we only ended up staying for one night.

Upon entering the room we got hit by a stench made up of chloride and bleach. This was not just in one room, but all three of them. We decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and let it air out for a bit. We then went out for dinner and when we came back an hour later the smell was still there, with the same intensity.

The carpet had stains, the light fixture on the ceiling had dead flies lying in it, the sliding windows were single pane (no sound isolation whatsoever) and could not be locked. The bed sheets were clean on the inside, but not very much so on the outside.

Just when we thought things couldn't get much worse, we had some loud people yelling and screaming up until 12:30 in the morning, and because of the bad sound isolation we had no problem following their drunk conversations.

The bathroom was actually nicely updated, but while we were showering in the morning the hot water would occasionally cut out and turn ice cold. The vanity was also updated, albeit only the countertop and fixtures.

We were actually worried about bed bugs and/or flees, but couldn't find any.

Did I mention the smell? It actually made my nose and eyes itch. Disgusting.

So we obviously decided not to stay for the second night and checked out the next morning. The manager had no problems giving us a refund for the second night, which was a nice surprise. He probably already knew this was going to happen or it had happened before.

Also, the front desk is about the size of a bathroom. It has some cereal for breakfast but that's it.

Stay away from this place. It feels very dirty and we were very happy to leave. Yuck.
