I love this place. I've been comming to Long Beach 1 to 2 times a month from Oct. through about March for the razor clam digging seasons since 2008. I stayed at 5 other local hotel/motels before finding Cedars two years ago. Now, this is our number 1 choice. The location is prime, we love that we walk to shops and restaurants. The value really is unbeatable. My room is always clean and comphy, you can open the window and hear theocean surf in the background and the staff is always professional, friendly and helpful. What else can I say except I plan on continuing to make this our number 1 hotel choice in Long Beach Wa.

never again, not unless i am forced to at gunpoint, and even then i might take the bullet. this place was horrid. HORRID.
ONLY redeeming quality is it is right downtown long beach.
other than that, no way. never ever ever again.

We booked the room online and headed for a fun weekend at the beach. Tried to check in at 3, Lobby packed. Room finally issued but was not yet clean asked if we could come back in an hour. Returned 2 hours later room not cleaned many excuses from owner. Machine down help missing etc. Returned at 7 PM room still not ready complained to owner more excuses. He did offer to return our money but it's Saturday night and we had already tried to find a different room elsewhere nothing available in 25 miles. Room finally cleaned at 9 P.M. Screens broken, remote broken, locks broken, smelly carpet. This place is 1 block from the beach and town and I wouldn't stay there again for free. Beware! This is a resort town with a depressed economy we were expecting quaint and casual not deception and deceit. The sad thing is when everyone else in town is booked this hotel will still get guests so nothing will change.

Stained carpets, peeling paint,window screens cut out of the frames, broken curtain rods and non closing curtains,soap dispencers with no soap, garbage in the parking lot, broken ice machine mentioned in one of the old reviews still out in the lot. Breakfast(?) between 7 and 11, door to the lobby opened between 8 and 9 maybe. Security latch broken off the door. Overall, pretty sad. Won't go back again.
