“Perfect for a long weekend”

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn at Discovery Coast for a Friday-Sunday stay. We were in room 9 which is a top floor corner room. We had an amazing view of the ocean and even with the huge windows, there was a lot of privacy.

My favorite part of the room was the huge bathtub where you could still look out at the ocean. Bed was super comfy, staff was great and the breakfast was a really sweet touch.

I'll be back for sure!

In October me and my wife and daughter stayed at Inn at Discovery Coast. We enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. We stayed on the top floor and had a perfect view of the ocean. We at at Adrift restaurant and a couple of other places in town. We will be back soon.

“Relaxing, beautiful, an chic!”

I couldn't have found a better place for a get-away! Close to everything, quiet, friendly positive staff, and I really enjoyed meeting the happy and well-behaved dogs who accompanied their 'people' to work. They thought of everything (and the some). I feel very spoiled and pampered - and kudos to Mary at the spa for the great massage.

“At The Beach”

We had a lovely three night stay at the Inn, our second in the same 1st floor room with our two dogs. Just as before we had a serene time enjoying the beach and dunes with our dogs who were in doggie heaven. Our room, while not providing an ocean view due to having our dogs along, did provide a lovely view of the flowing grasses, the gorgeous sky and the roaring sounds of the ocean just beyond. We enjoyed our large jetted tub, the fireplace and the big comfortable bed with lots of pillows. The decore has the feel of the rustic beach with natural elements and calming colors.

The staff was really nice and the housekeeper accommodating in our efforts to clean up our dogs when returning from playing on the beach. Reading a previous reviewer, I have to say I have stayed at the Inn twice with our dogs and other folks with their dogs. Besides an occadional "woof", all the dogs have been model canine citizens (the humans weren't even
that quiet). Yup, dogs get wet, and humans sometimes use way too much aftershave and
perfume. That's life in the real world. Also there are more dogs in homes across the USA than children. They live "in" our homes and are "members" of our families. We are so grateful for pet friendly places since the vast majority are not friendly to dogs. As a plug for dogs, they don't steal the towels, plug up the toilets or complain when humans treat them badly.

The rooms are all stocked with everything you'll need and then some. In the morning, if you choose, a nice breakfast will be left at your door, scones still warm from the oven. I love that the toiletries that are in large pump containers instead of tiny little bottles. There's no skimping on guests here. We had such a nice stay, we plan to return in a month, this time without our sweet dogs, so that we can enjoy the ocean view. This is our choice destination with or without pets.

Room Tip: If you have dogs, all the pet approved rooms are lovely and clean. If you don't you might prefe...

“Another great trip to the coast”

We just spent Thansgiving weekend ant the Inn...we have coming here for years now and our experiences have been consistently excellent. We pretty much reserve the same room everytime and by now we get that "just like home" feel. While a storm would be blowing outside, hanging out by the fireplace and lounging was great. During a lull in the action it's a really short jaunt to beach to watch the surf pound the sea into foam. Another perfect getaway!
