I had done a lot of research prior to picking a place, and we finally settled on a place not in Leavenworth, but still close. The Staff that greeted us was awesome and very helpful and sincerely glad to have us. We walked around the ranch in snow shoes (that they lent us for free) as there was tons of snow and would not have been able to walk anywhere without the shoes. The Ranch was beautiful, to include the pond.
Our room was a stated, and even roomier than we thought. We stayed in the Ponderosa which was away from the main house, and more secluded and only the Lodgepole was next to it. The bed was nice, with lots of pillows. Small for us, since we have a King size, and this was a queen, but still nice. Nice kitchenette with just about everything you need. Their attention to detail was awesome. Down to the little things in the kitchen and bathrooms. Now, this is NOT a Hilton, this is a secluded type cabin with a "living room" area with TV and fireplace, bathroom, big 2 person tub next to the kitchenette, which was awesome, and the bed area. We even made the comment that people that want the Hilton, probably would not like this, since this is more cabin/country type place...so we absolutely LOVED it...!!
We just wanted a weekend alone and for it to be romantic..we got there and there was a plate of chocolate strawberries and champange waiting for us, both of which were awesome too. Bath crystals for the tub, movies to rent (for free), which we did, while sitting by the fireplace.
The breakfasts were awesome and delivered to your door EXACTLY when he says he will, and they were always hot and yummy...AND Different everyday!
You cant go wrong here, great service, from the Husband and wife to the very social and energtic daughter who ALWAYS had a smile on her face...even the dog, Bailey had a smile on his face!!
Just book it, you wont regret it....!!!!!!

My husband and I decided on a Leavenworth trip for our 10th anniversary and picked the Pine River Ranch after much research. We are so glad we decided to stay there! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, Tim, and his beauitful chocolate lab, Bailey. They showed us to our cabin, the Ponderosa, after Tim gave us some Leavenworth tips and information about the Ranch.

Our cabin was beautiful and warm and spacious. We do not have one complaint. The bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi was amazing, and the breakfasts were out of this world. Home cooked, delicious breakfast delivered right to our door at about 9 am each morning.

Each morning after breakfast, we took a long walk around the property. It was beautiful and was even more fun because we would go and get Bailey and take him on our walks with us. They provide snow shoes as well if you need them.

We absolutely loved Pine River Ranch and would recommend it to all. You won't be disappointed!

Pine River Ranch Bed and Breakfast is situated on 22 alpine acres with towering pine trees and snow-capped mountains—the location is within a trifecta of things to do…just 15 miles west of Leavenworth, WA; 15 miles east of the Stevens Pass Ski Resort, and just a mile to the south of Lake Wenatchee.

The accommodations at Pine River Ranch B&B are comfortable and private, each equipped with their own unique hand-crafted log bed, fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. There are six suites at the Ranch, four of which have their own private entrances in two different cabin structures—the other two suites share the main house entrance. During my stay I was able to see four of the six rooms; of those four the Nason and the Natapoc suites seem to be the more recently remodeled…and, bear the names of the surrounding mountains.

Each suite has a small kitchenette, so you can store some snacks in case you don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your room. Upon arrival you’re treated to a complementary bottle of local wine and can also order chocolate-covered strawberries, a platter of assorted cheeses and/or fresh flowers—all to facilitate a romantic stay. You can even schedule an on-site, in-room massage if you like.

Breakfast at the Ranch is hearty and delicious…and, served a bit differently than most B&B’s—because the focus is on “romance” they deliver breakfast straight to your room, so you can stay cozied up by the fireplace in your room-supplied plush bathrobe. Each suite comes with its own coffee pot and espresso machine with three different fresh ground coffees to choose from.

To add to the rustic romance of the Ranch, you can even get married in or around their local landmark circa 1940s dairy barn. The barn is a wonderful structure with all kinds of character. The surrounding mountains make a wonderful backdrop for pictures. The best part is…after the wedding festivities, you can stay put in one of the six suites.

No matter when you visit the Ranch, there is plenty to see and do in/around the area. The Ranch has trails throughout the property that go right by a pond and to the shores of Pine River. Leavenworth is just 15 miles away and is a fun and eventful area. Bavarian themed to its core, Leavenworth will make you feel like you’ve been transported thousands of miles away to a small German/Swiss town. The Wenatchee River runs along highway 2 right through Leavenworth and makes for some great fishing, hiking and exploration Lake Wenatchee, just a mile away from the Ranch, is a wonderful place for picnicking, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, camping or just exploring.

Karen and Tim, two of the proprietors of Pine River Ranch, are the friendliest and most hospitable hosts you’ll come across. Their love for one another and that of what they do, clearly shine through.

In need of a quick getaway, we packed our bags and dashed to Pine River Ranch. It was an incredible experience! The owners are kind and gracious people. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious. The accomodations were clean, warm, friendly, and beautiful. The bed was a dream!
