This was our first time staying at the Bavarian Lode but it most certainly won't be our last.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly young lady at the reception desk. Check in was quick an efficient with all the hotel has to offer explained nicely.

The rooms were probably the nicest of any that we've stayed at in Leavenworth, and we've stayed just about everywhere. Everything seemed near new and was very clean. One thing I liked was that the heater/AC was very quiet which is unusual for the single room units.

Breakfast was a bonus. Everything was arranged nicely and kept very clean throughout the serving period.. Not many places serve bratwurst at breakfast. It was actually a nice treat.

Our room was located on the fourth floor overlooking the town. It was stunningly beautiful to look out our window and still see all the Christmas lights up and with snow on all of the roof tops the scene was simply breathtaking.

With the current discount the Bavarian Lodge is offering through Tripadvisor, booking here is a no brainer.

If I had to post a negative at all it would be the weak wifi signal up on the 4th floor. It was a little slow but it never dropped off so all was good.

I can't truly express how great this place is because I have insufficient command of the english language, but:

The hotel is in the best location possible.
The front desk people are helpful and knowledgeable.
The breakfast that comes with the room is top tier, and changes daily.
My room was great.

I am 9 years old and I love the free hot cocoa in the lobby. I have never stayed in a hotel that has a sledding hill right next to it. It is also right across the street from the park where everyone goes sledding. We could see the whole town with Christmas lights everywhere right from our window.I love the breakfast.I love the waffles and the sausage.I love the orange juice.

My husband and I came up for a weekend ski trip to Mission Ridge. The Bavarian Lodge is super cute, clean, and up to date (est 2005). It is located in the center of town next to all the shops & restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us a restaurant guide upon arrival. A breakfast buffet is included with your stay (eggs, biscuits & gravy, and a waffle station). Great food! Free DVD movie rentals (new releases even). They have an outdoor pool & hot tub open all season! Free parking. Free WiFi. I highly recommend this place!
