King Oscar motel was nothing more than an overrated Motel 6. The beds were absolutely awful. My back hurt the entire day the next day. The staff was also rude to my family; it wouldn't kill them to vacuum their floors either. The manager (I think her name was Sherry?) needs to learn to focus more on customer service; she was of little help when we voiced our concerns about the lobby's cleanliness, the stiff bed, and overall appearance of the motel.

King Oscar Inn was pretty reasonable. It was close to where we needed to be, had a continental breakfast and free parking. The service was just "meh" the front desk workers were not very helpful especially to out of towners. They couldn't even tell us where the nearest cleaners was. And when the waffle maker broker (not our fault) they were just nasty. BUT like I said, it was ok for what we needed.

I stay here often and it is good for business. Nothing really spectacular but adequate and good value.

I like the steam room, hot tub, and pool. I like the fresh warm cookies when you check in. Some new staff lately but I found the old staff friendly and am hoping the new ones continue the same.

My husband and I were going to a party in Olympia, an hour away from home. We needed a place to stay the night. We arrived very late. The room was clean and suited our needs. The only problem I noticed was in the morning the sounds from the room above us were very noisy. We could hear, we think kids, running across the room, falling on the floor, and jumping on the bed. Also, we would have been disappointed if we wanted to use the fitness center, because it was closed for renovation.
