For this area, I thought I landed a good hotel at a decent price. The room was small, a little dated in decor, but was full of features for my 4 night stay-refrigerator, micro, etc. I generally liked the hotel. On one day I walked to the workshop I was taking and decided to come back for lunch. Lo and behold I find the door to my room wide open. The room next to mine was going through daily upkeep, and I also noticed that two women and two kids were socializing on the deck of this particular section. I asked the housekeeper working on the adjacent room why my door was wide open with no one working inside. She had no idea. I reported this to the management, and the desk person said the manager would have a discussion with the housekeeping staff. Did they do that? I never heard. I also mentioned this upon checking out, and this was the first time that desk person was aware of my situation. Thanks to everyone around for their honesty as I did not have anything missing. Could have been a disaster though. I might have checked out at this point, but didn't have a lot of time to check around for alternatives. I hope this was an anomaly.
