I made a reseration 3 days in advance of the night I was going to stay. I found a more appealing room a few hours later, so I called to cancel my reservation. When I called to cancel my reservation the owner demaned that I pay him $20 in administration fees. When I told him I thought that was unfair, he started speaking very loudly in broken english that I could not understand and then hung up on me. To make a long story short, after a very drawn out ordeal, I agreed to pay the $20 and move on with my life.
The motel is actually pretty cute, and it looks like the owner does a lot of work around there keeping it painted and the grounds looking nice. So it might be an okay place to stay. But after the way I was treated, I sure won't be staying there anytime soon.
