I made a reseration 3 days in advance of the night I was going to stay. I found a more appealing room a few hours later, so I called to cancel my reservation. When I called to cancel my reservation the owner demaned that I pay him $20 in administration fees. When I told him I thought that was unfair, he started speaking very loudly in broken english that I could not understand and then hung up on me. To make a long story short, after a very drawn out ordeal, I agreed to pay the $20 and move on with my life.

The motel is actually pretty cute, and it looks like the owner does a lot of work around there keeping it painted and the grounds looking nice. So it might be an okay place to stay. But after the way I was treated, I sure won't be staying there anytime soon.

My experience at the Century Motel was quite pleasant. The room was clean and the price was fair. Compared to other Motels i've stayed at in the area, this place was much more quiet.

Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again.

This motel is off the beaten track on 516 next to the 5 freeway. We arrived late and tired on a Thursday evening. The owner tried to gouge us on a one night stay until I was ready to walk. It was 2 adults, 2 children for 55.00 That was fair based on market value for that room discounting the element present. Hookers, pimps could be seen and the smell of dope was prevalant outside of our room.
The second night we tried other hotels in the area and they were booked. We asked how much it would be for the friday stay and the owner said 65.00. I said "What if I pay for 2 nights" 120.00. He said and then charged my card for 130.00 this was not a misunderstanding as far as tax. It was simply a gouge.
The room had dirty carpet and did not provide shampoo or HBO.
On Friday morning at 11am, the owner insisted he had to come in to vacuum the room. he was rude.
Upon checkout we informed them we would be out by 12p when checkout was 11a. The owner argued with me for 5 minutes why it would take me an hour to vacate. It's not as though he had a crew doing housekeeping or people waiting to rent the room.
Generally I found the stay very uncomfortable and other guests seemed pretty shady. Not a place you want your kids to go and get ice for you at sundown. Doors slammed throughout the night.
