“The worst version of "customer service" by the General Manager EVER!”

I have never in my life had anyone in the hospitality service be so extremely rude and lacking of any form of customer service skills as the desk clerk at this Quality Inn & Suites. Then to top it off this inhospitable person is proud to admit to be the General Manager and director of sales and marketing. Her attitude was absolutley horrible! I guess since she is the GM she figures she can be this way towards customers and not have to worry about getting reprimanded by superiors. Yet it's customers who will either make or break the existence of a hotel.

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to share your experience. Please accept my apology. It is never my intention to offer less than stellar service to our guests. Your feedback is important as it affords our staff the opportunity to continually improve our hotel.

Because the owner of the hotel is adamant as to our 100% non-smoking policy and our 24 hour cancellation policy, those are issues that are set in stone and cannot be altered by me. I would welcome the opportunity to happily resolve any issues that do not involve our non-smoking or cancellation policies.

“One of the worst Quality Inns we have stayed at”

We have stayed at quite a few Quality Inns on this tour and this one has some problems. The only good things I can say is that the room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a serious problem with the water pressure, sometimes I could get no water at all in the sink or shower! Other times there was only "hot". There was no sink "stopper" so it made it difficult to shave and you could easily lose something down the drain. Nothing worked properly in the exercise room. It took them nearly an hour to get us checked in and were very slow and not particularly friendly or apologetic about the hassle. And last but certainly not least was the train noise! It will wake even the heaviest sleeper at least 3 times a night.

We are delighted that you found your room clean and your bed comfortable. Our last Quality Assurance Review gave us a score of 98.5 for cleanliness.

I apologize for our past problems with water pressure. Rest assured that great plumbers have since remedied that situation. I also lament your lengthy experience at check in and am happy to state that not any of our guest service agents have been with us less than a year and a few have been with us for over five years and all are more than willing and able to provide a friendly and efficient check in experience.

Your comments are vital in our efforts to continually improve our hotel and are deeply appreciated. We look forward to changing your impression of our hotel and serving your needs in the future.

“Rude & dirty - with bugs!”

I don't usually write bad reviews, but this hotel was horrible.

The first night, the refrigerator was so loud, we had to have the TV all the way up and still had trouble hearing it. The fridge did this all night. The next morning, I called the front desk and asked them if they could take a look at it - and they said I had to pay extra if I wanted a working fridge or microwave. I tried telling them I didn't want it to work, I just wanted to get some peaceful sleep. They would not help - I just unplugged the fridge for the rest of our stay.

The second night, I pulled the covers down to slide into bed and up came crawling a black pincher bug thing. I was horrified and could not get assistance. (The next day, there was a spider crawling up the wall next to the bed, but at least that wasn't in my bed!)

Also, we made reservations for 4 of us, and we were only given 1 towel and only 1 towel per trip to the front desk... So 3 trips just to get towels for me, my husband and my two kids to shower. Heaven forbid if we needed a towel for the pool.

Please, do not stay at this hotel.

I understand and empathize with your experience with the noisy refrigerator. I would have much preferred that the front desk staff offer another room or an upgrade to a suite at no extra cost to you. Please accept my apologies.

Encountering crawly things must have been very unpleasant and we have since instituted certain procedures to avoid that unpleasantry in the future.

We would enjoy the opportunity to provide stellar service to you in the future.

“The absolute worst”

Not only was this the filthiest motel we ever stayed in but was double charged for the room and their general manager would not reverse the charges and is very rude. We had to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Washington Attorney General office to help us with this mess. We would strongley adivise anyone to not stay at this place!!!

“Decent”

This place is alright. Pretty decent considered I only paid $30/night. Manager at front desk was very friendly and helpful! Room is alright....your average Quality Inn setting. Didn't use their pool so no review on that. Breakfast was ok. There's a waffle maker in the breakfast room. Only negative thing about this hotel has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Since it's located near a railway crossing, the train will honk their horns a few times approaching the intersection. It can be quite noisy at night. Perhaps request a room that doesn't face that way.

Taking advantage of packaged rates can often prove extremely affordable! I am sorry you did not have the opportunity to enjoy our indoor pool, hot tub or dry sauna.

Yes, it is always an option to request a room away from the rail road tracks.
