The nicest staff we have ever experienced. Chris was wonderful and and very accommodating.

Good facility, good breakfast, helpful staff, nice workout facility.

Good for business travel.

Only knock: thin walls.

Not a resort setting but the hotel is set back off the thoroughfare and yet is still close to both freeway and Kennewick businesses. Can walk to Barnes and Noble, Target, and host of restaurants. Should be a good gateway location -- at least it was for us.

One nice touch, there are soft chairs next to the fireplace so we could enjoy a glass of wine in cozy comfort at the end of the day.

There were warning signs in the hotel about the upgrades taking place but we were neither disturbed by -- nor did we benefit from -- any of the television and furnishing upgrades. Should be a nice addition when completed, however.

The heating system in our room wasn't working properly but we called the desk and a very helpful engineer showed up promptly and continued to tackle the issue until it was solved. Made us feel they were really concerned for our comfort.

Only ding was an overwhelmed breakfast time and they never noticed we hadn't gotten our order until we were leaving.

In summary, if the Hilton Garden Inn chain is your sweet spot for value (as it is for us) then this one should be on your list. It's not the Ritz but then you don't pay Ritz prices either.

If you're in the Tricities, this hotel is an excellent one to consider. I spent one night here on a business trip and had a pleasant stay. It's a modern hotel, with spacious and very functional rooms. Bed was comfortable though someone on my floor was a little loud (not the hotel's fault) so sleep was interrupted. Decent and reasonably priced breakfast buffet was available. I'd stay again if I'm in the neighborhood. Nice hotel -- not elegant but more than adequate.
