Stayed one night at the end of April. Hotel sign said "ECO Lodge", not ECONO... The place had a tired and worn look, having seen too many years and too many guests. The swimming pool was not filled and the pool paint was peeling. The restaurant next door was closed down. Landscaping consisted of bare asphalt. However, the important stuff was all there, although a little threadbare around the edges. The room was clean. The manager made an effort to put me next to another single to ensure a quiet night. The tub was spotless along with the rest of the bathroom. Bed was squishy but comfy. Continental b/f consisted of coffee/tea, cold cereal w/milk poured out of a plastic jug, bread for toast, danish, and bagels. A toaster was provided. Butter, jam, and cream cheese were provided as well as two different brands of coffee. Never was able to get all the satellite channels listed on the old TV set in the room. Fridge and microwave were provided in room. Since the room assigned was facing away from Ely Street, there was no traffic noise. A good, no frills, basic value at $49 for a single plus taxes.
