My husband and I stayed in the "Mt. Baker Cabin" (sleeps 4 people) which you can find if you click on the "Mt. Baker Cabin" link within the Mt. Baker Bed & Breakfast website.

All I can say is that I wish I had read the reviews before booking 2 nights here. I am sorry we stayed here and will never go back.
First of all, this was not a bed and breakfast -- there was no breakfast, not even coffee grounds or tea bags so you can make your own. Even the cheapest budget motels provide that much.
Secondly, we felt misled. In the email and on the website this accommodation was referred to as a cabin, but it was in fact a 1-bedroom apartment over a garage or workshop, as stated in another review here. Please note that the picture on the TripAdvisor website is NOT a picture of where we stayed.
Overall, the negatives far outweighed the positives, but let's look at the good points first.
Positives: It's in the woods, off the highway. Very clean. All the furnishings and carpet seemed new. Good supply of dishes, pots, and silverware. (but who wants to cook on vacation?) 5 minutes drive from Glacier where you can find a grocery store and restaurants.
Now for the Negatives: No view of mountains, just trees. Although "hot tub always available" appeared at least 4 times in emails and literature on site, the hot tub was only available on request and the request needed to be made long in advance of the time you wanted to use it. The hot tub had NOT been turned on for our arrival. The next day, after an arduous hike, I asked about using the hot tub and was told I should have indicated the previous day that I wanted to use it. I was not offered any discount or refund like another reviewer here mentioned, nor was I offered any explanation why it had not been turned on. So beware - it is not "always available" and if you rent here, don't count on the hot tub.
Going on with the negatives, I was chided for asking for the internet access code rather than taking it from my confirmation email. We were told not to wear shoes indoors. There were instructions about cleaning up spills on the carpet and how to avoid the smoke alarm going off when using the stove. No pictures or decorative items in any room added to the impersonal and inhospitable atmosphere created by all the instructions. Heat was barely adequate and the complex heating system proved impossible to regulate despite detailed instructions. The double bed had a foam mattress and wasn't very comfortable.
But here's the real kicker: to avoid a cleaning fee, you must strip the beds and put all linens and used towels in the laundry basket. You must also wash the dishes and put them away, and turn off all the lights and leave the blinds open for the plants!! Nowhere on the internet was this place advertised as a self-service lodging.
I paid $329.29 (including tax) for 2 nights -- in advance by check (they don't accept payment by credit card). For that price, I expect a whole lot more.
