We live in Federal Way, but decided to have my daughters 10th birthday party here...the pool was really fun, and although the girls were partying loud way into the early hours of the morning, we got a very nice knock on the door from security to quiet things down...but he was really nice about it!

We stayed here one night with our second stay being next door at the Hampton Inn, while this is a decent hotel there was nothing special about it either, although the lobby and front desk people were very nice, I thought the price was rather high for the room and area and would recommend the Hampton if you have a choice (which at the time was 80.00 cheaper and much nicer)

Of course I am not going to compare it with Cedarbrook Lodge, the best one in Seattle inmy opinion so far, but this Marriot is pretty decent, the staff is very friendly and helpful and they give you free ride to the airport, some 15 minutes away. They also provided a free transfer everyday to the work event I was participating in, some 10 minutes away. You can walk to The Commons Mall, a 10-15 minute walk, which is very convenient. I enjoyed this little exercise. The rate includes breakfast. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable. They have a good size and both wifi and LAN internet.

Just staying for one night here. The new Courtyard Lobby look is done well here. I have been impressed by this new look ever since I saw it about a year ago. Well done Courtyard.

This hotel has a practice in which the registration folks stand in front of their desks if they are not serving a guest. This way there is a more informal friendly greeting instead of the old "how can I help you?"

The lobby food bar is pretty good. I ordered the egg breakfast and it was brought quickly and was very nice. It's a bit pricy compared to say an IHOP, but you don't have to go anywhere to get it. I did not buy the Starbucks coffee offered but helped myself to the free lobby coffee.

The rooms were at the usual good Marriott standard.

It was a good road warrior stop.
