“Tulalip Shopping and Free Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We went to Everett and stayed for a night to do some shopping... i was originally looking in Marysville. The hotels were about 120/night... i went on priceline and booked this hotel for $70. It included a free hot breakfast buffet. We had a great stay and it was conveniently close to the freeway... we could go shopping at Tulalip and Everett... Looking forward to going back!

Room Tip: Choose one away from the freeway

“Very nice, helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We booked last minute for a room when a family member was hospitalized in Everett after a skiing accident. The reservation person let us know that there was a special rate available for Providence hospital. The hotel and the room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was included, and it was lovely, served in the attractive dining room. Everything was fresh and hot, lots to choose from, even fresh pineapple. We got a coupon for a free drink from the Starbucks located within the hotel. There was a shuttle service that took me to the hospital twice, right when I needed to get there. I can't say enough about how helpful everyone was at a stressful time. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn.

“No hot water !!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

The hotel itself was ok. Our room was right next to the ice machine so we heard the clanking of ice all night and the beds were hard as rocks . The room was basic and clean enough for us. The biggest problem was NO HOT WATER !! Cold that was it at 8 in the morning. It wasn't like they ran out they just didn't have any at all !! We didn't eat the next morning at the breakfast of which the restaurant was open. It made me ill to think that the dishes ect had not been cleaned with hot water YUK ! Hope no one got sick - Definitely a BIG NO for staying again !!

“Nice hotel but noisy at night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

The hotel was very nice, service was great, I found it a bit pricey $108/night for a hotel right off of the hwy. Downtown Everett... hmm you have to say it fast.. it's really a hotel on a hwy, there is no downtown area within walking distance.

The room was quite decent, clean and the beds looked quite nice upon first inspection. We were in room 405 and the bed I slept on was on a terrible slant, so I didn't sleep well at all. It was also very noisy. There is no central heat so if you put the heat on it makes noise all night long. We turned ours off but could still hear other rooms' heaters going on, as well as banging and toilets flushing at night. Once I put in my ear plugs it was ok.

We were on the east side of the hotel (away from the hwy) and could still hear noise from the hwy so I can imagine how noisy it must be on the other side.

Hotel staff were all very friendly.

Pool was nice, and the breakfast was included in the room rate, and kids ate free for dinner in the restaurant. It was a buffet though we arrived at 8:30 and most of the food was cold. (breakfast goes from 6am-9am). None the less it was nice to have something to eat before heading out for the day.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room on the east side of the hotel.

“Clean and modern. Prompt and accomodating guest service staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

We booked our room while in Everett, as we found the toll-free reservation service a bit difficult. The front desk representative was pleasant and very willing to accommodate our requests. We were upgraded to a room on the top floor facing away from the highway. The room was quiet, except for the vending & ice machine right beside our room. Not much activity, but could be annoying if you want a quiet sleep. I would recommend getting a room on any floor at the ends of the hallway away from the vending/ice machines and elevator. Being at the top floor in the middle of the building, we were close to the elevator machine room and could hear the brake dropping and lifting all morning as people were heading down to the lobby. We had an issue with our tv remote in our room and the front desk had maintenance staff there within minutes of our call. They provided us an extra cot we had requested free of charge for our inconvenience. The breakfast was decent as a complimentary service, again the staff were very pleasant and willing to help. If you are staying for business or for a one night stay, this hotel is worth the rate. We will stay here again as a place to rest for the night.
