I won this on priceline for $48. I just needed something basic for one night for myself only. I was in town on business. The hotel is right off the I-5. Don't rely on mapquest for the directions on how to get there - not very good! I did have to turn around and found my way back to the hotel easily.
There is a big shell station beside the hotel that also has a large convience store.
The hotel was very clean, but very basic. The staff were very nice. I was checked in quickly. I had a room on the 2nd floor. The room had a small kitchenette (fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker), table with 2 chairs, queen sized bed, rocking lounger chair, dresser, tv, and open closet.
It was a decent size for one person. I felt safe at this hotel as a woman traveling alone. Indoor corridors are nice and they lock the hotel down at 8pm and you have to have a keycard to get into the hotel.
The bed was really hard - but I still managed to sleep ok.
The room is very basic - no shampoo, no hair dryer - nothing you get in a regular hotel.
The internet is 4.99 one time connection fee for your entire stay. The internet (wireless only) was up and down, up and down - it wouldn't stay connected. I did ask for a refund of my 4.99 and they took it off my bill.
There is coffee 24 hours down stairs.
The only real complaint I have is the walls are paper thin. Someone next door to me obviously was not in and their phone was ringing constantly. Around 830pm I heard it, no big deal.
12am it woke me up - I thought it was my own phone it was so loud. Again at 230am - ringing 5 times each time. Then again at 530am. I am a really sound sleeper, but this was like having several wake up calls all night long. Very annoying.
I could not stay here for an 'extended stay' like it is meant to be. I thought this was a great place, but there is no way I could stay there for any long period of time having the neighbors phone calls wake me up all night long!
For one night it was good. I wouldn't probably purposely book this place again, but if I were to win it on priceline again, I would deal with it and ask for a quiet room that doesn't have someone on the other side if possible (assuming the hotel is not sold out).
