This is a quiet hotel near the Everett Mall and the Boeng manufacturing plant. The room was clean and well laid out. Coffee pot was available. The breakfast was better than average. They had biscuits and gravey as well as waffles, cereal pastries and juice. The staff was very nice and professional.

The title says it all.

The place reeked of smoke even though it was a "non smoking" room. When we complained, the crazy owner said we were smelling the "new paint and carpets" they had just installed!!
She then treatened to call the cops and stormed out when we told her we wanted a new room. WOW. this is not to mention the cockroach I noticed when I turned down the bed -- nor the stained sheets - nor the general ickiness....

Seriously...

We stayed here about three years ago but thought we were now booking in a different Day's Inn. We were wrong. We booked an apartment suite as there were four adults. The room was a non-smoking room but the smell of tobacco was overwhelming. The windows to the bedrooms were open and I could see why.

I don't think anyone had recently been smoking in the room, obviously it had previously been smoked in for several years and the odor was so persistent the motel couldn't rectify the problem.
One of the people staying was allergic but tolerated it and her travelling companion had recently quit smoking so this didn't help. When we went out we could smell the rancid tobacco on our clothing when walking around in the mall and the smell persisted even after returning home. I had to leave my jacket outside for a couple evenings to air out. Poor Val's Rockets Jersey still stinks to high heaven.

The floor in the kitchen and bathroom which was tile was sticky even though had been cleaned. We pointed this out to the maid who did rectify the problem while we were out. The televisions were old and channel selection was very limited.

If the place didn't stink of tobacco it would be okay, my wife recalled it was the same when we stayed here three years ago.

The furnishings are old and the place is really in need of a complete redecorating. From the outside it looks fairly appealing.

We walked in. Had planned to stay 2 nights in Seattle but couldn't find any suitable hotels so we drove north on 99. Eventually we found this next to the Everett Mall at 9:00PM. We were exhausted. Hubby managed to squeeze a rate of $95.00 for 2 adults and 10yo child for one night. It was clean and comfortable. Wifi was good. Daughter was disappointed they didn't have Animal Planet channel on TV here, although the directory listed it. (She is addicted to it. LOL). Minor noise disturbance around midnight when another guest was outside (inebriated), but it was brief and she didn't hang around very long.

Breakfast was good including make your own waffles, and the usual assortment of breads, muffins, hot and cold beverages. Breakfast area very clean but I noticed no one was checking supplies and one patron had to go ask the front desk to replenish juice and milk.
