We recently stayed here when visiting friends for Thanksgiving, we changed to this hotel because of the great pet policy.
However, finding the hotel was rather difficult, as there are no signs from the street, so you have to guess as to where to turn in. Once you are wandering through the parking areas of the buildings in front of the hotel, there are a couple of very small signs, but the are not lighted, or at the lighting wasn't working. The hotel is tucked in behind a Holiday Inn, a casino, a fast-food place, and some offices.
The next item had to do with other guests and their dogs. When taking our dog out in the morning one day, I opened the door to the stairs to be met with two unleashed dogs bounding up the stairs. When their owner noticed me pulling back into the corner with my dog, he called feebly to his dogs to little effect.
That night, we came back up the stairs, and when we opened the door to our floor, we were met with the same dogs running loose in the hallway. My wife went down to the front desk to complain, and was told by the person on-duty that he would call the rooms that we reported (they were at the end of the hall with their doors open), but if they didn't answer he didn't know what he could do about the situation. When confronted by "Really? I bet your manager would know what to do!" he called, and when there was no answer (which we expected, as the offenders appeared to be going out), he posted the hotel pet policy on their doors. The notices, when examined, stated that all dogs must be "on lease".
All in all, it was just a place to sleep that allowed our dog without charging extra. Other than than there's nothing to recommend it. The other desk person that we dealt with was friendly and efficient.
