We arrived late at night after a long day of driving. Our Garmin led us right past the hotel but because the hotel does not light up its sign at the road and has no lit signs on the building, we drove right past. We ended up wandering around on unlit rural roads and driving quite a distance until we could find a place to turn around. However, if you arrive during daylight or the hotel chooses to install lights, you'll get off to a better start. Staff were friendly. Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Standard continental breakfast served in a pleasant room. This is a Days Inn, so the quality of the towels and amenities is a little less than other chains in this class (AmericInn, Shilo Inn, Quality Inn) -- but we found it to be well managed and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to you.

We took our girls basketball team to Ellensburg for a tournament. The tournament was horrible but the hotel was great!! The whole team was checked in within 5 minutes. We had an early game so they opened the breakfast up an hour early for us, kept the pool open late, (we also had a very late game). It was clean, staff was friendly and went out of there way to help. They also gave us a team discount.

Stayed both in the Hotel and in the RV park. Both worth the stop. Not great, but solid and easy to get to and away from

I wanted to like this hotel. Did a bunch of research at this very web site to find just the right place to stay in Ellensburg. And physically, the place was fine. Newish. Far enough off the highway. Nice people working there. Price was a little higher ($76, including my AARP discount) than another Day's Inn I stayed at, but I figured that was because it was nicer. Alas, it really wasn't. For one thing, the front desk and hall had a funny smell. Pesticide? Strong cleaner? I can't say. Second, the pillows were too big to really sleep comfortably. My wife is small, and thought it was just her. But no, it was too big for me too. Guy at front desk said lots of people complain, but these pillows are from Day's Inn and they are the only ones they are allowed to offer guests. So if you stay there, my advice is BYOP- Bring Your Own Pillow.
