“A charming alternative!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

I had a business meeting in Ellensburg and decided to drive over the pass the day before instead of leaving in the wee hours and risking traffic/weather/etc delays. For anyone who does a lot of business travel, you know how old it gets staying in hotels. I was so pleased to have found the Inn at Goose Creek - it felt more like staying in a friend's comfortable, cozy home (albeit a friend with a REALLY nice guest bedroom!).

I stayed in the "I Love Christmas" room since it was so close to Christmas. It was a beautifully decorated, spacious room. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a large double sink area outside of the bathroom (which had a jetted tub). The room was so beautiful and inviting, it just made me smile when I walked in (especially since I've been too busy to decorate my own home for Christmas!).

I have to second the comment of RubyroxMontana - don't be dismayed by the location!! Although it is right off the main drag, and amongst gas stations and chain hotels, when you walk through the front doors you enter the most wonderful cozy little oasis! The Inn at Goose Creek is oh so convenient right off of I-90, and yet such an unexpectedly pleasant retreat!

My only regret is this was a business trip and I had to get up early and leave! Although I rarely need overnight accommodations in Ellensburg, having discovered this little gem, I would consider popping over just for a little getaway now and then!

I love this place....wonderful people, wonderful rooms. Well worth the price. Every time we head to Seattle I want to stay. Clean, comfortable. I want my bedroom to be just like the Rose Room. My favorite room. Have tried 4 of the 8 rooms...
Christmas tree and decorations are beautiful.
The owners are great people. Merry Christmas to the Goose Creek Inn...we love you

“Great little find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

I highly recommend the Inn at Goose Creek. The room was comfortable and I particularly liked, after a hot dusty day on the road, that we could open windows and feel the wonderful breeze and fresh air. I don't know if it's always windy but it was windy during our stay. I remember having a very good sleep there. We were on the backside of the hotel and it was very quiet. The breakfast was above average and there was just a general sense of calm about the place.

“Second time, same great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

For the second consecutive year, we stayed at the Inn at Goose Creek on our way through central Washington, and in future we will plan our route so we can stay there again whenever we are driving through. It combines the warm, cozy experience of a B&B with the efficiency and value of a motel -- but it is so much more! We stayed in the Forever Spring room again and have fallen in love with the oversized stuffed ducks. After a comfortable, quiet sleep, we enjoyed a very good, healthy continental breakfast before heading off in the morning. Charming Old World hosts Gary and Ylwa have useful recommendations for restaurants and stores, including the adjacent, unique Wind River Gifts. Ellensburg's historic old town has interesting shops and restaurants.

“A gem in the midst of eyesores”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

Don't let the location between ugly gas stations and chain fast food restaurants and hotels scare you. Once you walk in the door you leave all that behind for a welcoming lobby, friendly staff and fun rooms. We were in the English Ivy room - very comfy beds, large bathroom and bathtub/shower, and QUIET, which I was initially concerned about since our room was facing the main street and the Inn is right off the highway. Room was decorated with, of course, an ivy design and lots of frog stuffed animals, which my 10 year old just loved. All in all, a great place!
