I had a business meeting in Ellensburg and decided to drive over the pass the day before instead of leaving in the wee hours and risking traffic/weather/etc delays. For anyone who does a lot of business travel, you know how old it gets staying in hotels. I was so pleased to have found the Inn at Goose Creek - it felt more like staying in a friend's comfortable, cozy home (albeit a friend with a REALLY nice guest bedroom!).
I stayed in the "I Love Christmas" room since it was so close to Christmas. It was a beautifully decorated, spacious room. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a large double sink area outside of the bathroom (which had a jetted tub). The room was so beautiful and inviting, it just made me smile when I walked in (especially since I've been too busy to decorate my own home for Christmas!).
I have to second the comment of RubyroxMontana - don't be dismayed by the location!! Although it is right off the main drag, and amongst gas stations and chain hotels, when you walk through the front doors you enter the most wonderful cozy little oasis! The Inn at Goose Creek is oh so convenient right off of I-90, and yet such an unexpectedly pleasant retreat!
My only regret is this was a business trip and I had to get up early and leave! Although I rarely need overnight accommodations in Ellensburg, having discovered this little gem, I would consider popping over just for a little getaway now and then!
