I stayed here for a family reunion on sep 6th, 2010. We had a great time at this property. They have nice indoor pool, cookies, fresh breakfast.

All in all, we would stay here anytime we are in ellensburg, they have great staff.

We booked a two night stay here online (they would not allow just a one night stay, as it was a 'holiday weekend', and were shocked to find out when we got there that they would not honor our request (when we booked) for a non-smoking room. Their excuse was that they were all booked up, so that was all that was left. When we pointed out we had requested a non-smoking room when we booked the room, the clerk's response was "Well, you're the ones that booked online", indicating the online booking requests were flatly not honored.

So after checkout we will have to go launder all of our clothes, but not until we spend four hours in the car smelling like ashtrays to get home. Absolutely ludicrous. Not only did they not provide the service we requested, but they were rude about it!

Besides the room generally stinking like an ashtray, the comforter was filthy and the hotel was noisy in general. Even if we weren't lodged in an ashtray we wouldn't recommend this price-inflated hotel. Booo Comfot Inn.

WE were tired and needed a place for the nite - this hotel is convenient and the staff is nice. Our room was clean, although bed skirt and floor stained a bit - This could be a better place if hallway rugs were cleaned and linens updated - Somehow on our end of the second floor there was a strong smokle smell - the breakfast was alright and I appreciated the computer in the lobby that was available to guests. We did get a chance to walk the campus of Central Washington State College.

I assumed that chain motels like comfort inn had minimum standards to retain the franchise we found this trip that must not be the case... There was black mold growing in the tub area... DIRTY carpets in the hallways... Tired old bed...
