To start the front desk staff were not welcoming or friendly. They didnt even seem like they cared. There were giant old tv's behind the front desk showing survalence footage of the hallways. There were also typed signs saying no visitors after 9 pm. There was also signs saying they werent reaponsible for lost/stolen items. This all gave me the impression that it was not a very safe place to stay. The area around the hotel is run down. There is a shut done casino next door and a trailer park. Once we got in our room we saw hair near the sink and in the tub which was really gross. There was also dog food on the floor near the dresser. The bathtub dripped all night. The hairdryer didn't function properly and only 2 shower towels were provided. The kings size bed was very low quality ( no bed bugs though ). One of the pillows on our bed was like a pillow from an old couch or something that they had just put a pillow case over… that was really bad. I was pretty shocked by how bad it really was. Also when we asked about the pool the guy basically just said
"maintenance is being done" with no other explanation or apology.
I'm pretty sure they use that as an excuse to never open the pool
because there were no signs
pointing to the direction of the pool
like there would be if it were
normally open. The worst part of
the hotel was that the room keys
basically only worked one time and
then you'd have to go get another
one. The keys are like credit cards
and they would constantly get
demagnetized we went through
about 6 keys in our two days stay.
The staff didn't seem surprised or
apologetic. The parking is terrible
with no entrance to the hotel from
the back of the lot. The rooms do have refrigerators and microwaves. There is cable tv and wifi. Don't stay here.
