My husband and I stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. The rooms are perfectly decorated and extremely comfortable. I really liked the fact that although this is a b&b, you aren't forced to sit with others you don't know but have a lovely breakfast delivered to your door.

My only complaint is that the service is far less refined and genteel than the ambiance would dictate; it's kind of like going to a wonderful restaurant with phenomenal food and atmosphere but the wait staff is rude and dismissive...too bad.

We would still consider staying here but be we will keep the inn keepers at arms length to avoid tainting our experience.

My husband and I visited three nights for our honeymoon. There are no words to describe the amazing time that we had. The Place at Cayou Cove was the most beautiful, relaxing and magical place I've ever stayed. Every detail was thought out, from the decorations in the room, to the welcome chocolate and the events calendar of things happening on the island during our visit.

We had the pleasure of the breakfast in bed and wine on the porch at sunset each day- these were the highlights of our stay. Delicious and perfect. We lounged on the porch, in the hot tub, on the grounds - we really didn't want to leave our cottage unless it was to pick vegetables from the garden to snack on, or walked to nearby restaurants.

It was THE perfect Place.

The only- and I mean only- complaint I have about our stay was that I didn't feel that the owners were all that kind to my husband and I. I wondered if this was an age issue, since I am mid-twenties and all other guests were much older. The owners were kind of short and dismissive with us.

We stayed at the Place at Cayou Cove for our five year wedding anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. It is absolutely amazing! The cottage was well appointed with an unbelievably comfortable bed, a roomy two-person shower, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfy lounging area, spacious deck and private hot tub. Breakfast was delivered to our cottage every morning and was plentiful and delicious. To top things off, the cottage is pet-friendly so our dog was able to join us for the weekend. I can't wait to return next year. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a romantic and relaxing vacation.

What an amazing place. Our cottage was spotless upon arrival, and continued this way throughout our stay. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and flowers in our room, and a very detailed list of things to do and places to eat on the island.

Breakfasts are delivered to your room every morning at your specified time and the food is out of this world! Charles is an amazing chef!

I hesitate just a little to share this review, only because I want to keep this place to myself!! However, even the locals will tell you this is the best place to stay on the island.

We have already booked again for next year, but plan to stay a little longer. Orcas Island is paradise...
