Stayed for one night in a single king room. Hotel is older but taken care of for the most part. Check in was quick as was check out and folks working were polite.

Reserved a King room but didn't get a king bed, but rather one double bed in a room. Didn't asked to be switched as we were only staying for one night. Bed was hard but better than too soft. Only two pillows provided. Room had a table in corner, small bathroom, and sink located by doorway as you enter room. Mini-Fridge also located next to sink in main room. Below window AC/Heat that made a weird noise when running on just fan.

You get what you pay for. This is standard 2 star property with a nice continental breakfast in the AM. If you want a 3 star property drive north to Olympia/Tacoma or South to Kelso.
Be sure to walk across the street to PJ's bar and grill. Great food and a fun place.

This is a mediocre at best Holiday Inn Express hotel. Best feature is location, halfway between Seattle and Portland. Close to freeway, so convenient but noisy. Staff seem to have their minds on other things besides guests; I had to wait and have a room cleaner find someone to give me my bill at checkout.

OK for an overnight stay only. Next time, I will look for something better 10 miles up or down the road.

I stayed at this property for four weeks and one word sums it up.
FRUMPY.
The first room had a table that was so wobbly that if it wasn't pushed against the wall it would have fallen over. One of the rooms had an internet connection so far away from the work desk that even a 25 foot cable would not reach the desk. When I reserved a "Jacuzzi Suite" through the HI Website, I was given a 'Jetted Tub Feature' room. One room had a door so out of adjustment, that you had to run your shoulder into it to get it to open. Threadbare and torn carpets in the hall. Management could care less. They made no effort to correct the situation. I stay at the HI Express hotels more than 75 nights per year, and this is the pits. I'll drive South to Chehalis next time for a better experience. Most anything would be better than this. One shining star was the blond woman who managed the Breakfast Bar. She was a delightful person who would be an asset to any property.

At Check in the Front Desk person left us standing there and didn't let us check in because the refused to honor our reserved rate. Poor business sense. Will not go back.
