“Unbelievably PLEASANT suprise”

I needed a last minute room for a week in Bremerton. I checked for hotels near my son's house and found many, but the Flagship Inn was recommended by a young couple I met near the Bangor Navy base. I looked it up and decided to gamble as the price was VERY good.

The views from the room are perfect, the staff is very friendly and helpful, fresh fruit and fresh cookies all day, along with coffee and GOOD tea. The room is VERY clean, real drinking glasses, real mugs, very comfortable bed, and nice little work area. I've been at my laptop for days watching the sun come up over the bay and go down. Five more days to enjoy the nicest 'work station' I've stayed at in years. This will be our choice when visiting the Seattle area from now on.

“Great price for homey atmosphere”

I recently stayed at the Flagship Inn in Bremerton, WA. It was a quaint place with cookies and coffee all the time. They had a nice breakfast selection, cold and hot cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins and pastries. Tea, coffee and orange juice. They had a fireplace in the lobby area and a computer with colored printer for you to print out directions or your airplane boarding pass. Very nice staff and very quiet. I recommend this hotel when looking for somewhere to stay in Bremerton. It is $20 cheaper than all the larger hotels and chains.

Room Tip: Book early only 34 rooms I believe are available.

“best standby in the west”

I have now over the past 2 years stayed here anywhere from a day or two to a week or more; when I pick someone up at the Seattle International airport and it's too late to hit the road for anywhere, or that someone special just needs a place to rest, the Bremerton Flagship Inn is the place to go. You can take the ferry from downtown Seattle to downtown Bremeton leaving very little driving to do in either direction; even if it's too late at night for the ferry or the departure times are inconvenient you can drive south on I5 head west on state route 16 across The Tacoma Narrows, 16 turns into 3 at Port Orchard, go a little further on the Freeway and exit at 310, Flagship inn will be on the left down the hill across from Jack In the Box and Chevron; this drive is about 45 min. To me being able to relax with a view of Oyster Bay; rooms with sliding glass doors and a small balcony away from the insanity of the city is well worth it!

Room Tip: Because of tall trees, a room in the center of the building and on either floor 2 or 3 is probably p...

“Old and stinky”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

This motel got good reviews and I can't figure out why. The view from the room is OK, but it's a very old place with tiny bathrooms. Worst of all is the smell. I've only ever experienced this kind of stale, over-powering smell of carpet cleaner once or before in a rundown, overused room near a big airport. The nearby roads make the rooms noisy also. Bremerton, over all, is a poor stopover. We paid over $80 for a dinner for two that was very mediocre. Don't stop here unless you have no choice.
