The receptionist Liz was very helpful and getting me a room was a fast and easy process!!!

We have been here for two weeks and it has been pretty good.They are kitty friendly! The staff has been super friendly and really nice--they manage to meet random client requests with a friendly smile. They even had Halloween trick or treat cookies for random children staying here. The facility is pretty darn clean. Two wishes: the internet could be high speed, and those handicap buttons on doors, so when your hands are totally full, you could use your elbow. You couldn't beat the staff, though. I have seen some pretty funny requests and they manage it with a real smile! Laundry room was clean and stairwells. Pretty decent all the way around. Top floor is for smokers. Places to eat are a walk-able distance away-half block or so. Good value for what you pay.

When I drop my daughter off at University of Washington each quarter we check ahead for hotels on the internet. Sometimes we get lucky, sometimes no. I was so pleased to find this motel only 17 miles from campus-- during check in week its impossible to find a motel in the U district. I was so impressed at check in when I told the desk clerk, nancy, that I was staying an extra day but needed to find a fax machine so my landlord could give keys to my neighbor to check on my pets. She graciously offered to send a fax for me and called my room a few minutes later to say she had a confirmation for me at the desk. The accommodations were very adequate-- dishes, utensils, cooking. If I had to stay in the seattle area for any length of time this is the place I would choose.

I stayed here for 3 week's business trip. The staff was not at all helpful. My colleague was given a room on the top floor and it had a persistent bad smokey smell. I got a king size room which was a lot bigger, but had not view at all.
I would have perhaps liked this hotel if the staff were better.
