“Great place to unwind”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

My wife and I just stayed for one night at the Semiahmoo Resort and it was fantastic. From check in to check out, the best service. We had a deluxe ocean view room that was just beautiful, nice bed facing the ocean view. We did a couples massage at the spa that was amazing. Packers restaurant had very good food and beverages, right on the water. This place is only 45 minutes from where I live but felt like a world away. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Ocean view was worth paying more for

“Great getaway for canadians”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

This is a great place to hang out and get away from the nonsense we go through. The location is nice as it is nice to go to a resort from Vancouver.

Price. Add yourself to the email list. You can find some great packages from it. I was able to get a great golf getaway from it.

Food. There isn't anything outside the resort, so you are stuck at eating at the resort. But, the food is great at all the restaurants at the resort. My only suggestion is if you eat at the restaurant in the evening try to eat outside. The flys in the restaurant was bothersome.

They have many things to do at this hotel. Golf is amazing. Two great courses there. They have movies playing in the evening at there theatre inside the hotel with free popcorn. They have volleyball nets and horseshoe games on the beach to make it active.

I have been there three times and loved it. Try to get a room with a balcony though, as it's tough to enjoy the sunset with some rooms that don't have opening windows to enjoy. The rooms are comfortable but a little dated. But it's still a great place to stay.

I forgot the spa. This has a fitness centre attached with a pool. Loved the spa.

“Will always have a special place in my heart!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We had our wedding here in June of 2011 and it was a wonderful event!

The hotel treated our guests wonderfully, and everyone had a great time. The staff are very experienced with weddings, so everything went off without a hitch. No ask was too strange or too big or too difficult for them. The food was delicious at the wedding events (dinner, and brunch the day after). From what we heard from the guests, everyone agreed that the food served at the wedding events was much better than the food found at the other two restaurants in the resort.

The location is secluded, on a beautiful peninsula overlooking to White Rock beach in Canada. The scenery took my breath away on our drive in to check out the resort the first time, and was one of the main reasons we chose this place. It is an amazing setting for a wedding.

The rooms are slightly dated in terms of decor, but kept very clean and polished. When one of our guests had a leak in her room, the problem was seen to right away. The beds are super comfortable, too. Most of our guests took rooms with an ocean view, but the courtyard view rooms aren't bad either - you see mostly trees, not just cars in the parking lot.

I'd recommend this place as a getaway from the city, for family or friends reunions, etc. Of course, Semiahmoo Resort will always have a special place in my heart.

directly on the ocean with view of Mount Baker and White Rock, BC

lovely rooms, quiet, tranquil atmosphere, gorgeous views in all directions, restaurant (though inconsistent in quality!) on premise - very much worth a weekend or longer get away. location, Location, location is its strongest asset.

Spa facilities and tennis courts next to small craft marina
They used to have a shuttle to BLI airport as well as to the Skagit Casino; inquire if important

Room Tip: ocean front with balcony

“Fantastic weekend getaway”

Called to reserve a room and customer service was awesome, thank you Mary-lou! This resort is nestled in a bay with great views in every direction, a true resort you do not have to drive again after arriving. Good restaurant which had very nice people and great food and they maintain a bar and grille which was grade A as well. Sailboats in the bay, surrounded by water and beach to take romantic walks on, I could go on and on, your wife/girlfriend will love it! My Wife loved the gym which is located upstairs from the spa. You can get a discounted winter rate, but we will be back in the summer as well ; )

Room Tip: Water view is great!
